Say what you want about the fact that McDonalds takes animal corpses and grinds up dead flesh for consumption by humans incapable of living even a modicum of a healthy lifestyle. The McDonalds Bovine Holocaust Organization does in fact have a lovely way of expressing itself graphically.
This above piece of graphic design is actually quite clever. In the above photo you have the entirety of McDonald’s Brand on display. You have the red and gold they are famous for. You have the french fries they are famous for. You have the McDonald’s logo they are obviously famous for. It is an example of branding mastery.
Now to get into the finer details of as to why this is phenomenal is because of the fact that they enmeshed a technological symbol flawlessly with their own expedited service cuisine. I cant even call this a fast food ad because they may make their food quickly but they sure as hell take their time when it comes to their advertising.
The message of Free Wi-Fi is displayed so beautifully. Just a simple message free wifi but at the same time they are using their food to help with the advertising so the branding stays in line with their core principles of product placement. I absolutely adore something as beautiful and metaphoric as this. The advertisers arent going to work everyday to slaughter innocent sentience but they are making certain that the organization that does destroy the decaying carcases of quadrapeds who say MOO! are decently supported by the graphic design community.
Does McDonald’s deserve design this powerful? Is McDonalds a successful company? Is the company as innovative as this ad? Does this ad belong with corpse patties and carcas filets? Why cant this company focus on selling holistic foods made soley out of vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, and grains? McDonalds goes to quite a lot of effort to ensure that they are destroying animals and the human food chain on a regular basis and honestly I love this design but I believe it does not deserve to be bestowed upon a company whose moral fibre is non existant.
